I really love AJAX, and especially JSMX. So, I figured what better way to test the boundaries of both AJAX and the JSMX API than to attempt to
build a JSMX based chat program (to prove that I could do it). This was, of course, a couple weeks before Google released theirs and I have since found a couple of other versions of AJAX Chat out there. So,
if I didn't create the first one, at least I can say I created the first AJAX Chat Program based on JSMX, I think!
This is truly experimental code at this point and there are tons of bugs to work out and features to integrate (if you find any or think of any, let me know). I figured if I waited for it to be completely finished I would never actually get it up and running. So, I have decided to release the first BETA version as a Demo. Which means the functionality will be limited but should give you an idea of what can be achieved using JSMX.
